saturday night

it's so beautiful outside right now. it looks like it rained outside, but it didn't.

today started out slow, but steve and i did a lot of thinking with our plans for the fall. i'm feeling a lot better than i was the other day about everything. everyone has their days... 

happy mail partners for next month should be sent out pretty soon. i'm excited to see who i get paired with!

chicago

i feel pretty happy today because steve said we are likely moving to chicago in the summer (but it's not definite). i've been looking online for places to possibly live and all the different vegan restaurants for me to eat at! the idea of living there makes me excited, but also really scared to if i have to make the big move. i haven't visited chicago since i was 15, which was about 6 years ago, so i totally forget what it feels like there. steve and i are thinking about visiting there in late april and checking out columbia college.

do any of you bloggers out there live in or near chicago? do you know any other bloggers that are? if so, please leave their links in the comments. i would love to get to know more bloggers from the chicago area.

wednesday

i have been busy busy with things lately, that is why i didn't get a chance to take the time to write on here the past few days. i got a bunch of new items listed in my etsy store! i will have cute earrings up in april, too! do you have an etsy store? if so, what is the link to your store? i'd love to check it out.

i spent a lot of my day yesterday organizing folders on my computer. i went through a lot of pictures and tried cleaning my desktop up a little. my hard drive is getting full, so that is why i decided to do that.

my kitty, gabby (aka mrs. picabia), was running around like crazy this morning. sometimes she runs so fast that i feel like i don't even see her pass through the room...even though she does.

she looks a little grumpy in these pictures (probably because i woke her from her nap trying to take these), but this is her if you haven't met her before...

steve and i just finished making some yummy vegan vanilla cupcakes with peanut butter cream frosting! they were part of our celebration of spring!

today i am going to help him set up his etsy store. he is going to put his visual poems in his store. speaking of etsy...i've been working on a lot more bows this weekend and they should be posted up in the store tomorrow at some point. i will probably do a post about it, though.

i wanted to share some photos with everyone that i took at my most recent photo shoot. i really like the way they turned out.

today is another beautiful day! i am loving the weather so much! i started a few art projects today, i'm excited with the progress of each project. can't wait to see them all done! also i've been working on more bows for my etsy shop, so if you're interested in my bows, check back this weekend for lots more! 

i bought myself some lovely flowers today. i put them on my coffee table. i just felt like i needed something to boost my mood.

a few weeks ago i did a post with pastel hair streaks. i can't get enough of them, though. i love them. makes me want to do something fun to my hair this weekend involving some crazy color!

etsy love

i put up a couple of new items (hair bow clips) on my etsy store this evening. i also took some new pictures of my old products, so everything is up to date and fabulous!

i am also working on making some earrings for my shop, but those probably won't be all finished until the first week of april.

today was another beautiful day! i felt so creative today! i am also loving this weather so much, it puts me in such a good mood.

steve got his final mfa acceptance letter in the mail today, so now we've heard from all of the schools! he applied at 6 different mfa programs and got acceptance letters from 3, so he's pretty happy about that. california college of the arts (san francisco, ca), california institute of the arts (valencia, ca), and columbia college chicago (chicago, il) were the schools that said yes. now we just have to wait until april to find out which schools will offer scholarships to him and then we'll know exactly where we'll be moving. we're hoping to move to san francisco, but we'll just have to wait and see...

hello, sunshine

today was such a beautiful day; i really enjoyed the weather! i packaged up a few orders for my clients today, but other than that i've been doing a lot of relaxing. steve and i went for a lovely walk a couple hours before sunset. while on our walk we stopped at a park and went down the slides and sat on the swings. here are some pictures i snapped while we were there...
