calm

right now i am sitting in steve's bedroom at his dad's house and it is 7:07 p.m. the window is cracked open a little bit. the only light i am getting is coming from the window. it is quiet. there is a light breeze and trees are moving ever so softly; it is really beautiful.

i feel really appreciative of my life right now.

i've had a lot of great days this week. most of my days have been spent with steve; i like that very much. i rented the breakfast club the other day and i hope to watch it tomorrow night. i've seen it before, but it was just the t.v. version and i it was quite a while ago, so i really don't remember it all that much. it will be fun to see it again!

tomorrow steve and i are having a yard sale. i hope to at least make $50, but more would be awesome! i didn't realize how much stuff i really had to sell until today when steve and i were packing it in his truck to take to his mom's house in harbor beach. 

also, today i booked my first senior portrait session of the summer! yayy!

star trek

yesterday was one of the first really awesome days of the summer. a group of friends and i went to see star trek. i didn't really know anything about star trek prior to the movie so i didn't know if i would understand or like it very much, but i did enjoy it and i would go see the next one (which i think one of my friends said is in the making). after the movie we all went bowling and i did a pretty okay job, not my best, but it was a lot of fun! after that we went to a park and hung out, then we went to steve's place to make some vegan pizza!

this saturday is the clothes swap alyssa and i are putting on! i am excited for it and i hope that people are interested in my stuff i am bringing, if not i am going to sell it at the yard sale next weekend. 

today joe, steve, and i are going to go for a bike ride, yayy!

moving

tomorrow steve and i are moving out of our apartment. we will be moving back home for the summer.  i have all my stuff packed and in the car, but steve still has a ways to go on his packing. i am going to try and help him get his things together later today. 

the moon

i have been so fascinated with the moon lately. i had steve explain to me how all the stages of the moon work with where the earth and sun are...cause he in taking an astronomy class this semester. i am so confused, it is hard for me to picture, but steve is going to set up a demo for me consisting of a basketball, baseball, and a lighted fixture. i understand things better hands on, haha.

this past weekend my sister and i traveled out to novi. after we were done in novi, we went to canton and shopped around in ikea for a few hours. i always get very inspired after going in that store. 

steve and i move out of our apartment on friday! i am so happy that classes are over and summer is well on the way!
